Veeps Shoot Caribou, Don’t They?
In honor of the opening of the RNC and in solidarity with my comrades in the Twin Cities, let me share with you this undated snapshot of sharpshooter Sarah Palin demonstrating that she’s ready to take over for Dick “shotgun” Cheney.
Palin herself murdered the moose. Her daughter looks scared, doesn’t she? What kind of parent exposes her child to carnage as sport?
Right now, cops are shooting rubber bullets at citizens protesting the party that wants to bring Palin to power. Tasers and pepper spray also have been deployed. Keep up with events as they evolve at Twin Cities IndyMedia.

Does this significantly change the meaning from “Palin herself murdered the moose?” I ask because I have never been comfortable with the “meat means murder” variations commonly used by those whose points I usually agree with.
Is murder a legal term? This is where I get hung up on the term. The anti-abortion activist who says “you murdered your baby!” when referring to an abortion isn’t crazy enough to notify the police of this crime. The anti vivsectionist who says “meat is murder” isn’t crazy enough to notify the police of the mass murder taking place at the slaughterhouse. In both cases there may be a case made against the particular techniques involved - but not the act itself.
I guess what I’m saying is that meat should mean murder.
